An Air India aircraft veered off the runway after landing in Mumbai.

In a statement, Air India Airlines stated that one of their flights slid off the runway while landing at Mumbai Airport after encountering heavy rainfall. The airline stated, "The aircraft has safely taxied to the parking bay, and all passengers and crew have disembarked. The aircraft has been taken out of service for inspection." Mumbai Airport operator Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport stated in a declaration that the main runway suffered minor damages. To ensure operations continue, the secondary runway has been activated.
