According to the Zhitong Finance APP, Cui Dongshu, the secretary-general of the China Passenger Car Association, stated that with the guarantee supply of Chinese cars, the total sales of cars in Russia in 2024 reached 1.83 million, a year-on-year increase of 91%, setting a new annual sales record in recent years. In June 2025, car sales in Russia reached 100,000 vehicles, a year-on-year decrease of 31% and a decrease of 2% from May. From January to June, the cumulative sales of the Russian car market reached 600,000 vehicles, a year-on-year decrease of 29%.
