Futures commodity closed with the main contract for alum rising over 8%, coal and glass rising over 7%, soda ash and coke rising over 5%, industrial silicon rising nearly 5%, caustic soda, polycrystalline silicon, PVC, urea rising over 3%. European freight rates dropped more than 2%.
