India initiates a mid-term review of the anti-dumping investigation on jute products from Bangladesh and Nepal.

On June 30th, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India announced that, in response to an application submitted by Indian domestic industry associations, a mid-term review investigation was initiated on jute products originating from or imported from Bangladesh and Nepal to determine whether there is a need to reassess the dumping margins and injury margins of exporters/producers from Bangladesh and Nepal. The dumping investigation period for this case is from April 2024 to March 2025, while the injury investigation periods are from April 2021 to March 2022, April 2022 to March 2023, April 2023 to March 2024, and April 2024 to March 2025.
