According to the Zhixun Finance and Economics app, Europe's largest budget airline Ryanair (RYAAY.US) said on Monday that its net profit for the April to June season (first fiscal quarter) more than doubled, benefiting from the Easter holiday and better-than-expected "last minute" ticket prices. Data shows that the Irish airline's net profit for the first fiscal quarter was 820 million euros (approximately 9.53 billion US dollars), higher than the 360 million euros for the same period last year when Easter was in March. Analysts had previously expected a net profit of 716 million euros.
