Recently, the Ministry of Water Resources officially released the "China Water Conservation Report 2024". The report shows that in 2024, the work of water conservation will focus on implementing the rigid constraint system of water resources and implementing the "Water Conservation Regulations", coordinating the promotion of the national water-saving action, accelerating the establishment of a sound water-saving institutional policy system, vigorously developing the water-saving industry and technology, and continuously improving the water-saving awareness of the whole society. The national water-saving level further improved, and water-saving work achieved significant results. The water-saving industry and technology are thriving. In 2024, 5 mature and applicable water conservancy technologies were released in the field of water conservation; the national water rights trading platform conducted 11312 water rights transactions, with a trading volume of 13.7 billion cubic meters; 687 contract water-saving management projects were implemented; 25 provincial-level administrative regions carried out "Water-Saving Loan" financial services, issuing loans totaling 112.13 billion yuan; and 479 companies obtained 1233 water-saving product certification certificates.
