Xin Yuan founder Dai Weimin: The China RISC-V Industry Alliance has 204 member units and has done two things.

On July 17, the main forum of the 5th RISC-V China Summit was held at the Zhangjiang Science Hall in Shanghai. Dai Weimin, the founder, chairman and president of Sinyield Co., Ltd., and chairman of the Shanghai Open Processor Industry Innovation Center, reviewed the RISC-V workshop held by the RISC-V International Foundation at Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2017, which accelerated the development of RISC-V in China. In 2018, the Shanghai Economic and Information Commission took the lead in issuing relevant policies to support RISC-V, and with the support and promotion of the Shanghai Semiconductor Association, Sinyield Co., Ltd. took the lead in establishing the China RISC-V Industry Alliance, which currently has 204 member units. Dai Weimin introduced that in the process of promoting and popularizing RISC-V technology, the alliance has mainly done two things: first, holding the "Dishuihu China RISC-V Industry Forum" to promote ten domestic RISC-V chips annually; second, organizing the Sinyield Cup Embedded Software Development Competition based on RISC-V technology. More than 40 universities, 650 teams, and over 2,000 students have participated in the competition.
