Today, reporters learned from the Shanghai General Station of Immigration Inspection that since the start of the summer travel peak on July 1st, the passenger flow at Shanghai airports and cruise ports has remained at a high level. From July 1st to 15th, Shanghai immigration authorities have inspected a total of over 1.76 million inbound and outbound passengers at airport and cruise ports, with an average of 117,000 passengers per day, and inspected 11,000 inbound and outbound vehicles. Among them, the total number of inbound and outbound passengers at the two major airport ports, Pudong and Hongqiao, was 1.678 million, with 11,000 inbound and outbound flights, representing an increase of 14% and 10% respectively compared to the same period in June.
