Dutch lithography giant ASML: U.S. tariff policy makes company's growth prospects uncertain.
Dutch lithography giant ASML warned on the 16th local time that, due to the impact of US tariff policies, the company may not be able to achieve growth in 2026. The CEO of the company, Fu Kai, said on the same day that the company is still working towards growth in 2026, but currently cannot guarantee it. The company stated that, like the entire semiconductor industry, ASML is increasingly vulnerable to potential trade restrictions by the United States. Geopolitical uncertainties have intensified, especially after April, with the company's machines and the chips produced by them experiencing price increases, and the market environment remains challenging.
