Recently, the State Administration for Market Regulation initiated a defect investigation on 10 commercial vehicle manufacturers based on the "Regulation on the Management of Defective Automobile Product Recalls", urging them to carry out recalls and eliminate vehicle safety hazards. The recall activities involve 10 commercial vehicle manufacturers, including Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Co., Ltd., Beiqi Foton Motor Co., Ltd., Golden Dragon United Automotive Industry Co., Ltd., FAW Jiefang Automotive Co., Ltd., FAW Jiefang Qingdao Automotive Co., Ltd., Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Group Co., Ltd., China National Heavy Duty Truck Group Jinan Commercial Vehicle Co., Ltd., China National Heavy Duty Truck Group Jinan Truck Co., Ltd., Shandong Huayao Auto Parts Co., Ltd., and Shandong Luoxiang Automotive Manufacturing Co., Ltd., totaling 56 models and 1675 vehicles. The main defect issues include protective devices, roof bars, body reflective labels, and driver seatbelt reminder functions that do not meet national safety standards, posing safety hazards. The above recall is of great significance for eliminating safety hazards in commercial vehicles, reducing the risk of traffic accidents from the source, and protecting the safety of the people's travel.
