Sino-Kazakh cooperation in qualification assessment enters a new stage.
According to the State Administration for Market Regulation, on July 8th, Deng Zhiyong, member of the Party group and deputy director of the State Administration for Market Regulation, as well as director of the National Standardization Administration Committee, and Zana Yesenbekova, chairman of the Technical Regulations and Metrology Committee of the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan, jointly signed the "Work Plan for the Implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in Conformity Assessment" in Qingdao, Shandong. The signing of this plan marks the official operation of the conformity assessment cooperation mechanism between the two countries. Based on this, the two sides will establish a comprehensive, full-chain, normalized cooperation mechanism covering conformity assessment, compile a list of key product types, establish channels for sharing technical regulations information, organize technical exchanges and experience sharing activities between the two countries, promote mutual recognition of conformity assessment results, and effectively improve the level of facilitation of bilateral trade.
