The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Member States Foreign Ministers Council meeting was held in Tianjin.

The meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization member states is being held in Tianjin today. The parties exchanged views on cooperation in various fields within the SCO as well as on major international and regional issues, and signed a series of resolutions and documents. China is the rotating chair of the SCO for the years 2024-2025 and will host a summit in Tianjin this fall. The purpose of this Foreign Ministers Council meeting is to politically prepare for the Tianjin summit.
