On July 15th local time, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations and the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development jointly released the "Agricultural Outlook 2025-2034" report. The report points out that the future of global agricultural growth will shift towards low- and middle-income countries, where these regions are becoming increasingly important in driving consumption and production. By improving agricultural productivity and promoting green technologies, the dual goals of emission reduction and hunger elimination can be achieved. A stable and fair international agricultural trade system is vital for ensuring global food security and sustainable development. The report predicts that in the next decade, per capita calorie intake from livestock, poultry, and aquatic products will increase by 6% globally, with the major driving force coming from low- and middle-income countries, whose growth is expected to reach 24%, nearly four times the global average.
