Nissan Motor announced as part of its global restructuring plan that production at the Tsudayama plant in Yokosuka, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, will end at the end of the 2027 fiscal year and production will be transferred and merged into its subsidiary Nissan Motor Kyushu. Nissan stated that after the Tsudayama plant ceases production, the company will explore various options to determine the most appropriate development path for the future use of the facility. Currently, employees at the plant will continue to remain employed until the end of the 2027 fiscal year.
