The cultural tourism promotional slogan "This is Shanghai" for 2025 was officially renewed and released on July 15th. According to data from the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, Shanghai received a total of over 3.396 million inbound tourists in the first five months of 2025, an increase of 37.7% compared to the same period last year; of which foreign tourists reached 2.543 million, an increase of 55.1% compared to the same period last year.
