Starting from July 16th, nine districts in Beijing will be designated as restricted areas for air quality improvement.
In order to ensure the safety of aviation activities related to the 80th anniversary commemoration of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Ant-Fascist War, according to relevant laws and regulations, the Beijing Municipal People's Government has decided to set up a restricted airspace in the administrative areas of Dongcheng, Xicheng, Chaoyang, Haidian, Fengtai, Shijingshan, Tongzhou, Changping, Mentougou and other 9 districts from 00:00 on July 16, 2025 to 24:00 on September 3, 2025. Except for aviation activities organized by the commemorative event organizing committee and special release activities such as peace doves and balloons, it is prohibited to release any objects that may affect flight safety and bird releases are restricted in segments.
