The Zhitong Finance and Economics APP learned that on Tuesday, the benchmark 10-year Japanese government bond yield climbed to its highest level since 2008, as concerns over fiscal spending intensify with the approaching Senate elections. According to LSEG data, the yield on the 10-year Japanese government bond rose to 1.599%, its highest level since 2008. The yield on the 30-year Japanese government bond also reached a record high of 3.21%, while the yield on the 20-year Japanese government bond soared to its highest level since 1999.
