On July 15th, Gu Jianmin, Chief Technology Officer of the automotive components giant Faurecia China, stated at the "2025 New Energy Intelligent Automobile New Quality Development Forum" that "China creates, serves the world" represents Faurecia's development strategy in China, and China is the "gym" for the global automotive industry. He mentioned that China's R&D efficiency and the ability of R&D teams are leading globally. For example, in China, it only takes 8-10 months for Faurecia's team to develop an intelligent headlight product, a development efficiency that cannot currently be achieved in Europe and the United States, where the development cycle for the same product is basically around two years. China also has very strong manufacturing capabilities, especially in terms of automation. For example, its Shenzhen factory was named a global lighthouse factory earlier this year, with fewer than 200 global lighthouse factories in the world, Faurecia's Shenzhen factory being the first lighthouse factory of the entire group.
