Lucid CEO warns: Tariffs will raise prices of American cars.

Lucid Group's interim CEO Marc Winterhoff warned on Monday that President Donald Trump's tariffs will push up the cost of car manufacturing, even in the United States. Winterhoff said that the global supply chain in the automotive industry means that U.S. manufacturers still need to import raw materials and some parts from other countries. Winterhoff stated, "For U.S. consumers, under a tariff regime, car prices will be higher. This is an unavoidable fact. The globalized supply chain is the reason for this."
