KeyBanc Capital Markets analyst John Vinh claimed in a report that the yield rates for the 2nm foundry nodes of TSMC, Intel, and Samsung Electronics are approximately 65%, 55%, and 40% respectively. John Vinh stated that the yield rate of Intel's 18A has increased by 5% compared to the previous quarter, which will help Intel to achieve the goal of launching the Panther Lake processor later this year. Intel's foundry is expected to lead Samsung Foundry in achieving a yield rate of 65-70% for mass production of 2nm chips, but by then TSMC's N2 yield rate will reach a higher 75%.
