Kimi K2, a 1 trillion parameter open-source hybrid expert (MoE) language model developed by Moonshot AI, has recently been integrated and deployed by several technology companies and applications, including OpenRouter, Visual Studio Code, Kingsoft Cloud, Silicon Mobility, Wuwen XiQiong, Nano AI, and Opai Cloud. The American startup Perplexity has also announced that they will conduct further training based on Kimi K2. Kimi K2 has attracted attention for its outstanding performance in areas such as coding (SWE-Bench 65.8%), inference, and tool usage, supporting 128K token lengths and utilizing the new MuonClip optimizer for context reasoning, suitable for handling complex tasks. This wave of integration reflects Kimi K2's competitiveness in the global AI field, especially in the rapid rise of the open-source model market. Experts state that its low-cost API and open nature provide developers with a cost-effective choice to drive AI application innovation. However, some users have provided feedback that the model has illusion issues that need to be optimized and integrated to improve production environment stability.
