Multiple technology companies have announced their integration with the Kimi K2 open-source model.
Kimi K2, a 1 trillion parameter open-source hybrid expert language model developed by Moonshot AI, has recently been integrated and deployed by multiple technology companies and applications, including OpenRouter, Visual Studio Code, Kingsoft Cloud, Silicon-based Mobility, No Question Sky, Nano AI, and Oppai Cloud. The US startup company Perplexity also announced that they will conduct further training based on Kimi K2. Kimi K2 has attracted attention for its outstanding performance in areas such as coding, reasoning, and tool usage, supporting 128K token length context reasoning and using the new MuonClip optimizer, suitable for handling complex tasks. This wave of integrations reflects Kimi K2's competitiveness in the global AI field, particularly in the rapid rise of the open-source model market. Experts believe that its low-cost API and openness provide developers with a cost-effective choice, driving innovation in AI applications. However, some users have reported issues with the model, such as illusions, and suggest optimizing integration to improve stability in production environments.
