Somalian forces kill 15 armed members of extremist organization.

The Somali National Intelligence and Security Agency issued a report on the 14th, stating that Somali security forces, in collaboration with international partners, conducted a military operation in the central region of Hirshabelle State on the night of the 13th, killing at least 15 armed members of an extremist organization and injuring 5 others. The report stated that the operation took place in three stages near the Mabaks area of Hirshabelle State that evening, with the aim of eliminating a group of armed extremists. These individuals came from the neighboring Middle Shabelle State and were attempting to reinforce their comrades besieged in Hirshabelle State. The security forces are continuing to pursue and eliminate the fleeing armed individuals.
