Trump will announce a $700 billion investment in Pennsylvania for the fields of artificial intelligence and energy, aimed at accelerating data centers, power generation, grid upgrades, and workforce training. Trump will attend the first Pennsylvania Energy and Innovation Summit at Carnegie Mellon University with Senator David McCormick and will deliver a speech. Executives from BlackRock, Palantir, Anthropic, ExxonMobil, and Chevron will also be present. Blackstone Group has announced a $250 billion project for building data centers and energy infrastructure to create 9,000 jobs. Previously, SoftBank, OpenAI, and Oracle have pledged to invest $100 billion and have lifted restrictions on AI chips. The Trump administration emphasizes the need for reliable coal, gas, and nuclear energy to solidify US leadership in the field of AI.
