According to the Zhitong Financial APP, Cui Dongshu, the secretary-general of the China Passenger Car Association, stated in a post that the sales volume of passenger cars in the first half of 2025 has been fully counted, which can also estimate the full-year sales range, especially since many car companies announced their full-year sales targets at the beginning of the year. Comparing the completion of the first half of the year with the annual target, the annual sales performance report is quite complicated, with a simple 50% target completion rate being considered high. Based on historical data calculations: currently, 48% of domestic gasoline vehicles, 40% of domestic new energy vehicles, and 45% of exports have achieved their annual targets, which is considered a good completion. In general, achieving 44% of the progress should be considered a good achievement in completing the first half of the year's annual progress task.
