China Shenhua: Unit 1 of the South Sumatra 1 Independent Power Plant Project in Indonesia has passed a 96-hour trial run.

China Shenhua announcement, recently, the No.1 unit of the South Sumatra 1 Independent Power Plant project in Indonesia has successfully passed a 96-hour trial run and has been handed over for commercial operation. The project is located in South Sumatra Province, Indonesia, and is operated by Shenhua Guohua Tianjian Meilang Power Generation Co., Ltd. under the BOO model, with a power purchase agreement with the Indonesian state electricity company for a period of 30 years. During the trial operation of the No.1 unit, the operation was stable, and the environmental indicators were excellent, with significantly lower concentrations of particulate matter, sulfur dioxide, and nitrogen oxide emissions than the contractual standards. The No. 2 unit has completed basic construction and is currently in the process of starting trial operation.
