South Korea plans to impose anti-dumping duties on petroleum resins from China.
According to the China Trade Remedies Information website, on July 11, the South Korean Ministry of Strategy and Finance announced that it will levy anti-dumping duties on petroleum resin originating from mainland China and Taiwan for a period of five years. The tax rates for mainland China are 2.26% to 3.50% and for Taiwan are 7.07% and 18.52%. This case involves products under South Korean tariff number 3911.10.1000, but C9 petroleum resin with a softening point not lower than 130C is not subject to the aforementioned anti-dumping duties.
