Xi'an issues red alert for high temperatures.

On July 14, 2025, at 10:40, the Xi'an Meteorological Observatory upgraded and issued a red high-temperature warning signal: From today until the 16th, the intensity of high temperatures in our city will further strengthen. It is expected that from today to the daytime of the 16th, the highest temperature in most streets of XinCheng District, Beilin District, Lianhu District, Yanta District, Baqiao District, Weiyang District, Yanliang District, the northern part of Chang'an District, Gaoling District, the northern part of Huxian District, the northern part of Zhouzhi County, and most streets of Xixian New Area will rise to over 40C; the highest temperature in Lantian County and most parts of Lintong District will rise to 37C to 40C; the highest temperature in the southern mountainous areas will be between 28C and 34C.
