The website of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission reported on July 12 that, according to the disciplinary inspection and supervision teams of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission stationed at the China Securities Regulatory Commission and the Jiangsu Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision, the former deputy director of the issuance supervision department of the China Securities Regulatory Commission, Li Xiaoqiang, is under disciplinary review and supervision investigation for serious violations of discipline and law. It was found through investigation that Li Xiaoqiang distorted his ideals and beliefs, tarnishing his original intentions. He used his regulatory power to seek personal benefits, seriously disrupting the order of the capital market. Even after leaving the China Securities Regulatory Commission, he did not stop his misconduct, becoming a typical example of corruption in the revolving door between politics and business. He was disloyal and dishonest to the Party, colluded with others to resist organizational review, engaged in feudal superstition activities; violated the spirit of the Eight-point Regulation, accepted gifts, consumption cards, and banquets in violation of regulations, received long-term free transportation services provided by management and service targets at the expense of others; had a careless organizational concept, concealed personal matters; breached the bottom line of integrity, held non-listed company shares in violation of regulations, and engaged in trading stocks through others' accounts for a long time. He illegally accepted a large amount of money under the guise of "business consultation" and "investment participation". Li Xiaoqiang severely violated the Party's political discipline, the spirit of the Eight-point Regulation, organizational discipline, and integrity discipline, constituting a serious violation of duty and suspected bribery crime. He did not restrain himself even after the 18th and 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, displaying a serious nature and adverse impact, and should be dealt with severely. In accordance with relevant regulations such as the "Regulations on Discipline of the Communist Party of China," the "Supervision Law of the People's Republic of China," and the "Administrative Punishment Law for Public Servants of the People's Republic of China," after research by the disciplinary inspection and supervision team of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission stationed at the China Securities Regulatory Commission, it was decided to transfer Li Xiaoqiang's disciplinary issues to his party committee for handling, and to expel him from the Party; confiscate his illegally obtained gains. After research by the Jiangsu Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision, it was decided to transfer Li Xiaoqiang's suspected criminal issues to the procuratorial organs for examination and prosecution, and to transfer the involved property.
