Due to rainfall, 13 rivers including those in Guangdong and Heilongjiang have experienced flooding above the warning level.
According to the Ministry of Water Resources, from 8:00 on July 11 to 8:00 on July 12, 13 rivers including Guzhu Water in the East River, Nanxi in the Jiulong River, Lixi River in the Min River, Fengle River in the Heihe River, upstream of Huolin River in Inner Mongolia, and Youhao River in the Tangwang River in Heilongjiang Province experienced floods exceeding the warning level due to rainfall, with the largest exceeding 1.20 meters. In addition, due to the combined impact of astronomical tides and rainfall, water levels at seven tide gauge stations along the Shanghai and Zhejiang coast exceeded the warning level by 0.03 to 0.15 meters. The Ministry of Water Resources has issued targeted warnings to Heilongjiang, Guangdong, Xinjiang, and other six provinces and regions to remind them to prepare for flood and mountain flood prevention of medium and small rivers, reservoir safety, and other flood control work.
