On July 12, Taiyuan Zoo released a statement regarding the injury of a domestic horse during transportation. The statement is as follows: In order to adjust the number of domestic horses in the park, our zoo initiated a domestic horse transportation plan according to procedures, and transported the domestic horses on July 11, 2025. During the loading process, a domestic horse accidentally collided with the railing of the transport vehicle, causing superficial abrasions and bleeding on its face. The professional veterinary team intervened immediately, applied hemostasis and disinfection to the wound. After confirming that the horse's condition was stable, its mental state was good, and a professional assessment determined that the accident would not affect its subsequent health and safety of transportation, the transportation task continued.
