Zhejiang's summer grain production achieves "three increases", with an increase in per-acre yield ranking second in the country.

The National Bureau of Statistics released data today showing that in 2025, Zhejiang's summer grain production area, total production, and yield per unit all achieved "three increases". Among them, the summer grain area was 3.279 million mu, an increase of 0.6 million mu compared to the previous year; the total production was 910,000 tons, an increase of 32,000 tons compared to the previous year; and the yield per unit was 277.5 kilograms, an increase of 9.4 kilograms compared to the previous year. The increase in yield per unit ranked second in the country.
