The Boeing Company has reached a settlement agreement with a relative of one of the victims of the Ethiopian Airlines crash.
On July 11th, local time, Boeing reached a settlement agreement with a Canadian man whose wife and three children died in the fatal crash of Ethiopian Airlines in 2019. It is reported that before reaching the settlement, the case was scheduled for a jury trial in court on the 14th to determine the amount of compensation. However, with the facilitation of a mediator, both parties eventually reached an agreement. The specific details of the agreement are not yet clear. In March 2019, an Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 737-8 aircraft crashed, killing all 157 passengers and crew on board.
