Yunnan has allocated 95 million yuan in emergency disaster relief funds to support flood control and disaster relief efforts.

On the 11th, it was learned from the Yunnan Provincial Emergency Management Department that this year Yunnan has experienced an early rainy season with severe floods. The Yunnan Provincial Department of Finance and the Provincial Emergency Management Department have urgently allocated 95 million yuan for flood prevention and emergency relief, supporting disaster-affected areas in carrying out emergency responses, search and rescue, relocation of affected people, and other emergency measures. This includes screening for hidden secondary disaster hazards, repairing damaged houses, particularly focusing on providing support to severely flooded areas in Gongshan County of Nujiang Prefecture, Deqin County of Diqing Prefecture, and Weixin County of Zhaotong City, effectively safeguarding the lives and property of the people.
