Due to the influence of the remnants of Typhoon "Danas" and the southwestern monsoon, Xiamen, Fujian welcomed a day of heavy precipitation today, with strong intensity and significant impact, lasting for a long time. Xiamen Meteorological Observatory has upgraded to issue a level 1 response for heavy rain warning for the whole city. In order to ensure the safety of railway transportation, Nanchang Railway Bureau initiated a blue warning for heavy rain and severe convective weather on some sections of the Hefu-Xiamen High-speed Railway at 8 a.m. today, and implemented safety measures such as speed reduction for some passenger trains, resulting in varying degrees of delays for some passenger trains passing through the above sections. Xiamen Airport activated the emergency plan for widespread flight delays at 3 p.m. today with a yellow response level. As of 3:40 p.m., Xiamen Airport had 586 planned flights, with 199 flights executed and a total of 85 flights delayed. Due to the impact of heavy rainfall, some routes of the Xiamen-Gulangyu Ferry have visibility below navigation standards. In order to ensure safety, starting from 1:55 p.m. on July 11, the East Ferry Passenger Terminal, the First Terminal, Songyu Passenger Terminal, and Neicuoao Passenger Terminal have suspended operations.
