Today (July 11), the third unit of the Batang Hydropower Station, a major project in the national "14th Five-Year Plan" located in the upper reaches of the Jinsha River, was officially put into operation and started generating electricity after a 72-hour trial run. With this, the Batang Hydropower Station has achieved full capacity operation and added a new guarantee to the electricity supply for this summer.
