Shanghai Stock Exchange: Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect program trading investors should report fund and trading information

Shanghai Stock Exchange released the "Shanghai Stock Exchange Securities Trading Rules Applicable Guidelines No. 2 - Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect Investor Program Trading Report", which will be implemented from January 12, 2026. Program trading investors in the Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect shall report the following information: basic information, including investor name, brokerage client code, the participant of the Stock Connect who accepts the entrustment, product manager, etc.; fund information, including fund size and source under the brokerage client code, leverage fund size and source, leverage ratio, etc.; trading information, including trading strategy type and main content under the brokerage client code, trading order execution method, highest declaration rate, maximum number of daily declarations, etc.; trading software information, including software name and version number, development entity, etc.; other information required to be reported by the Exchange. In case of significant changes in the information specified in the preceding paragraph, program trading investors in the Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect shall make a change report within the first five trading days of the next natural month after the change occurs.
