The emergency response level for defending against heavy rain in Xiamen City has been raised to level two.
At 14:40 on July 11th, the Xiamen Meteorological Bureau issued the latest warning, upgrading the "heavy rain warning level" for Siming District, Huli District, Tong'an District, and Xiang'an District to level one, and maintaining the level one "heavy rain warning" for Jimei District and Haicang District. Xiamen City raised the emergency response level for defending against heavy rain from level three to level two at 14:40. The Xiamen City Emergency Management Bureau reminds that the current cumulative rainfall has exceeded 300 millimeters, and strong rainfall is expected to continue this afternoon and tonight. The risk of geological disasters in the city is high. Please be cautious and take precautions against continuous heavy rainfall that may cause urban and rural waterlogging, landslides, and other secondary disasters.
