IATA: Global air cargo demand in May increased by 2.2% year-on-year.

According to the data released by the Intelligence Finance APP, the International Air Transport Association (IATA) Global Air Cargo Demand Regular Data for May 2025 shows that the total global air cargo demand, measured in cargo tonne kilometers (CTKs*), increased by 2.2% compared to May 2024 (international demand increased by 3.0%). Air cargo capacity (available cargo tonne kilometers, ACTKs) increased by 2.0% compared to May 2024 (international demand increased by 2.6%).
