On the 11th, it was learned from Sun Yat-sen University that Professor Wang Xuehua and Professor Liu Jin's team from the School of Physics at Sun Yat-sen University published their latest research results in the journal "Nature" online. The team proposed a new cavity-induced spontaneous two-photon emission scheme, which, for the first time internationally, achieved spontaneous two-photon emission intensity comparable to single photon emission, and developed a high fidelity up to 99.4% on-demand triggered new micro-nano quantum entangled light source. This achievement will provide key support for the development of the new generation of quantum precision measurement technology and the construction of functionalized light quantum information processing chips.
