TrendForce Report: China's energy storage new bidding volume reached 53.19GWh in June, hitting a new high for the year.

Chinatimes Finance APP learned that TrendForce's China Energy Storage Industry Bidding and Tender Database shows that in June 2025, the Chinese tender market experienced explosive growth, with a monthly tender volume of 53.19GWh, reaching a new high for the year, with both year-on-year and month-on-month growth showing a high-speed upward trend. At the same time, the amount of new winning bids in that month reached 17.2GWh, with EPC projects taking the absolute lead. The overall winning bid prices are trending downwards, with the average price for 2-hour energy storage systems at 0.51 yuan/Wh.
