Banking stocks fell back in the afternoon, with nearly 20 stocks including Pudong Development Bank dropping more than 2%.

Banking stocks continued to fall in the late trading session, with nearly 20 stocks such as Pudong Development Bank, Changsha Bank, Zhejiang Commercial Bank, Huaxia Bank, and Zhangjiagang Bank falling more than 2%. Industrial and Commercial Bank of China and Agricultural Bank of China are both close to turning green.
