Beijing publishes the first batch of affordable housing construction plans this year, with over 51,000 sets of housing units scheduled to start construction within the year.

Recently, the Beijing Municipal Commission of Housing and Urban-Rural Development released a notice regarding the 2025 city-wide plan to raise funds for the construction of affordable housing. The notice shows that Beijing plans to start construction on 34 affordable housing projects within the year, involving over 51,000 units; and 41 affordable housing projects are planned to be completed, involving over 56,000 units.
