Thai Finance Minister: Thailand will make "minor" adjustments to proposals regarding US tariff negotiations.
Thai Finance Minister Apisak Tantivorawong said that Thailand plans to make "minor adjustments" to its proposed tariff negotiation with the United States before submitting it again. Apisak said at a press conference on Friday that these adjustments will be made to the modifications needed in Thailand's proposal, but did not provide further details. He stated that he is prepared to fly to the United States again for tariff negotiations. He refused to disclose the ideal tariff rate that Thailand is hoping for, stating that the Southeast Asian country wants this rate to be more competitive compared to the tariff rates of neighboring countries.
