ChiNext Index and Shanghai Composite Index both rose more than 1%

The index strengthened, the ChiNext Index rose over 1%, the Shanghai Composite Index rose by 1.01%, and the Shenzhen Component Index rose by 0.85%. Rare earth permanent magnets, large financials, pharmaceuticals, and other sectors led the gains, with nearly 2,800 individual stocks rising in the Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing markets.
