The Office of the People's Government of Fengxian District, Shanghai, has issued the "Action Plan for the Development of General New Materials Industry in Fengxian District". By 2027, the goal is to build a development pattern of the general new materials industry with a complete innovative system, reasonable regional layout, and upstream and downstream coordination, and strive to achieve an industrial total output value of 60 billion yuan. Competitiveness will be established in 3-5 strategic key material areas, and breakthroughs will be made in 1-2 future material areas. Efforts will be made to introduce more than 15 new materials projects with investments exceeding one billion yuan, and cultivate more than 2 industry-leading companies with an output value of over one billion yuan.
