600 kilometers per hour superconducting high-speed maglev train appears: equipped with fully automatic driving function.
According to The Paper, traveling on the ground at a speed of 600 kilometers per hour, the superconducting electric high-speed maglev train made its first appearance! "The project of the 600 kilometers per hour superconducting electric high-speed maglev train is currently progressing smoothly, and the first phase of the engineering prototype was successfully developed in July 2024," said Shao Nan, a senior engineer at CRRC Qingdao Sifang Co., Ltd., during an interview with The Paper on July 9. From July 8 to July 10, the 17th China International Modern Railway Technology and Equipment Exhibition was held in Beijing, with simultaneous exhibitions at the National Convention Center exhibition area and the National Railway Test Center exhibition area. Among them, the outdoor exhibition area of the National Railway Test Center is a key highlight - showcasing the regular high-speed maglev train, superconducting high-speed maglev train, and regular low to medium-speed maglev train. In particular, CRRC Qingdao Sifang made its debut with the 600 kilometers per hour superconducting electric high-speed maglev train.
