International Atomic Energy Agency: The Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant is still connected to the last main power line.
On the 10th local time, International Atomic Energy Agency Director General Groshi stated that despite all off-site power being cut off on July 4th, the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant is still connected to its last main power line. According to records from the International Atomic Energy Agency, this power outage is the ninth outage at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant since February 2022, forcing the plant to rely on backup diesel generators for nearly four hours. The fuel tanks for the emergency diesel generators used during the power outage have been replenished, and the current fuel can run the generators for approximately 20 days in the event of another off-site power interruption.
