The US Department of the Treasury issued $22 billion worth of 30-year Treasury bonds with a bid-to-cover ratio of 4.889%. At 1:00pm New York time, the trading level before the issuance deadline was 4.890%, with the 30-year Treasury bond yield rising by less than 2 basis points. After the bidding ended, long-term bond prices remained stable, with the yield increasing by approximately 1.5 basis points on the same day. The 5s30s yield spread narrowed by about 2 basis points, approaching the intraday low.
