Today, reporters learned from China UnionPay that recently, some organizations or individuals have been using the name of China UnionPay to engage in illegal business activities, harming the property and personal information security of merchants and consumers. China UnionPay has issued a statement on this matter. Any activities or operations carried out in the name of "China UnionPay staff" or "China UnionPay products," such as stock solicitation and fundraising, high-interest rate financial management, property guarantee, credit card overdue bill processing, POS machine and credit card processing, are all using the name of UnionPay. China UnionPay does not engage in such business or operations in this way. Any claims of being agents for "UnionPay Cloud QuickPass cashier", "UnionPay Cloud QuickPass payment code" or "UnionPay integrated payment code", conducting stock solicitation and fundraising activities, requiring the download of unidentified APPs over the phone, soliciting bank card information, personal identity information, payment passwords, etc., are all impersonating UnionPay.
